No matter how you choose to prepare it, be it with your slow cooker, grilling with an oven, or even with an electric stove, one thing you need to understand is that, the secret to tender shrimps is by cooking or grilling them until they turn bright pink.


This recipe is great as an appetizer or main dish for family`s weeknight dinner.

On the other hand adding lemon to this recipe will not directly burn fat but will create a calorie deficit in your system, which can help you lose weight in the long run.

Shrimps seasoned with Lemon and Herb

Ingredients

2 tsp olive oil
1 lb large shrimps , peeled and deveined
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 table spoon full of Spice Islands that is salt and free lemon & herb seasoning , or another product brand
12 tsp table salt
14 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large frying pan over an average heat. Add shrimp and sauté 1 minute. Add to it lemon juice and lemon herb seasoning with salt and pepper then stir to coat the shrimp. Continue to fry until it becomes bright pink and cooked thoroughly, after about 3 minutes more.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in parsley.

Serve with cocktail sauce for an easy appetizer, or alongside Rice  Pilaf with Orzo for an easy dinner.
